Medicine Wheel Honors Mayor Marty Walsh

On February 27th, Medicine Wheel invited to its studio and honored Boston’s new mayor, Marty Walsh. For Mayor Walsh, the young men and women from the Cushing House created artwork such as a handmade book of self portraits and poetry, a mosaic hand with the word strength, and a handmade map of the City of Boston with “I Am” poetry from youth all over the city. At the event, Mayor Walsh endorsed the Daniel Morrison Fellows Program, which you can read more about here.
